About Us

🪶 We're a small crew of fly tyers, guides, and lure carvers who got tired of scattered notebooks, blurry phone photos, and guesswork sink rates. LureyWurey started as a personal recipe log and grew into the digital tying bench we always wished we had.

🎣 Our mission is simple: take the complexity out of pattern craft and water reading so you can spend less time second-guessing and more time on the water. Every tool we build starts with a real question a tyer or angler actually asks streamside.

🧵 LureyWurey gives you a visual fly box organizer, a thread-and-hook recipe matcher, a sink rate and tippet calculator, and a private photo vault for your tied flies and catch logs — all synced to nothing but your own device.

LureyWurey was built on a simple principle: your fly recipes, photos, and logs belong to you and only you. This policy explains, in plain language, why there is almost nothing to explain — because LureyWurey does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Everything runs locally on your device.

1. Information We CollectWe do not collect any personal information, account details, usage analytics, or device identifiers. There is no sign-up, no login, and no tracking of any kind built into LureyWurey.
2. How We Use InformationBecause no information is collected, none is used, analyzed, profiled, or sold. Your fly box layouts, thread recipes, sink rate calculations, and specimen photos are never read, processed, or reviewed by us or anyone else.
3. Data StorageAll content you create — compartment grids, hook and material recipes, hatch charts, craft logs, and photo galleries — is stored exclusively in local storage on your own device. Nothing is uploaded to a server or synced to a cloud service.
4. Third-Party ServicesLureyWurey contains no third-party analytics software development kits, no advertising networks, and no external trackers. The app functions entirely offline and does not communicate with outside servers to operate.
5. Data SecuritySince your fly tying data never leaves your device, there is no transmission to intercept and no remote database to breach. Your information is only as accessible as your device itself, protected by whatever lock screen or security settings you already use.
6. Children's PrivacyLureyWurey does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. As no data collection mechanism exists anywhere in the app, it is inherently compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
7. Your ControlThere are no accounts to manage and nothing stored remotely to request deletion of. If you wish to remove your fly recipes, photos, or logs, simply delete individual entries within the app or uninstall the app to erase all associated local data permanently.
8. Changes to This PolicyIf our practices ever change, we will update this policy and revise the Effective Date above. Since LureyWurey's core design keeps all data on-device, we do not anticipate this ever changing — but we will always be transparent if it does.
